Diversified Healthcare Trust (Nasdaq: DHC) said Anthony Paula has been appointed vice president. Paula is a vice president of The RMR Group (Nasdaq: RMR), whose responsibilities include overseeing the accounting, SEC reporting, and corporate finance functions for DHC.

Healthcare Realty Trust Inc. (NYSE:HR) said Austen Helfrich, who served as interim CFO from Oct. 1, 2024, was formally appointed as the company’s permanent executive vice president and CFO. As part of a planned transition, Andrew Loope, senior vice president, corporate counsel and secretary, has been promoted to executive vice president, general counsel, and secretary, succeeding John Bryant, effective Jan. 1. Bryant will remain with the company in the role of senior vice president, legal affairs.

Healthcare Realty also announced that its board of directors elected current director Tom Bohjalian as independent chair of the board. Iron Mountain Inc. (NYSE: IRM) elected June Yee Felix to the board of directors, effective Jan.1. From 2018 to 2023, Felix was Group CEO of IG Group plc, a global fintech company, having served on its board as a non-executive director from 2015 to 2018.

MAA (NYSE: MAA) announced the appointment of A. Bradley Hill as its president and CEO effective April 1, succeeding Eric Bolton, Jr. who is retiring as CEO and will serve as executive chairman upon the effective date of the transition. Hill joined MAA in 2010 and has over 21 years of real estate experience in the areas of transactions, development, and operations. Hill is currently serving as MAA's president and chief investment officer.

LTC Properties, Inc. (NYSE: LTC) announced that Wendy Simpson has been appointed executive chairman of the board of directors, while Pam Kessler and Clint Malin have been promoted to co-CEOs, and Cece Chikhale has been promoted to CFO. LTC said it is conducting a search for a new chief investment officer to succeed Clint Malin, who will retain that function until a successor is named.

National Health Investors, Inc. (NYSE:NHI) announced that Candice Todd will join the NHI board of directors effective Jan. 1. Todd served as managing director/global CFO of Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investments from 2019 until her retirement in February 2023.

Sun Communities, Inc. (NYSE: SUI) announced the retirement of Arthur Weiss from the board of directors. Stephanie Bergeron will not stand for re-election to the board at the 2025 annual meeting of shareholders, and Clunet Lewis intends to retire from the board no later than the 2026 annual meeting of shareholders.

Diana Reid resigned from the board of directors of Welltower Inc. (NYSE: WELL) in light of her appointment as CEO of Freddie Mac. Following her departure, the size of the board has been reduced to nine directors.
