As previously announced by AMH (NYSE: AMH), Bryan Smith assumed the role of CEO and was named a member of the company's board of trustees. Prior to his current appointment, Smith served as COO since 2019.
CareTrust REIT, Inc. (NYSE:CTRE) announced the appointment of Lauren Beale as chief accounting officer. She becomes the company’s first CAO after serving in different leadership roles since the inception of CareTrust. The company also welcomed Tri Tran as its newest senior vice president, investments.
Grace Kunde has been promoted to chief accounting officer and Dayna Hathaway has been promoted to chief marketing officer at Extra Space Storage Inc. (NYSE:EXR). Kunde’s previous role was senior vice president of accounting and finance, while Hathaway’s previous role was senior vice president of marketing.
UDR, Inc. (NYSE: UDR) said Mike Lacy has been promoted to COO after having served as senior vice president–operations since 2019. Lacy has served in a variety of operational roles since joining UDR in 2006. Meanwhile, Joe Fisher has been appointed to the role of chief investment officer in addition to his roles as president and CFO. UDR is initiating an executive search process to recruit a new CFO. Upon filling that role, Fisher will relinquish his responsibilities in that capacity and retain the roles of president and chief investment officer.
Welltower Inc. (NYSE: WELL) announced several executive and senior leadership team promotions: John Burkart was appointed vice chairman & COO after previously serving as executive vice president – COO. Nikhil Chaudhri was appointed co-president & chief investment officer after previously serving as executive vice president–chief investment officer. Tim McHugh was appointed co-president & CFO after previously serving as executive vice president–CFO.
Also at Welltower, Matthew McQueen was appointed chief legal officer after previously serving as executive vice president–general counsel. John Olympitis was promoted to executive vice president – head of corporate development after previously serving as senior vice president – head of corporate development. Edward Cheung was promoted to executive vice president–international investments after previously serving as senior vice president–international investments. Patrick Keppenne was promoted to senior vice president – investments and a member of the company's senior leadership team.
