Nareit member REITs have been named to S&P Global’s 2025 Sustainability Yearbook, recognizing them as companies within their industries that have demonstrated particular strengths in corporate sustainability.
The Sustainability Yearbook 2025 considered more than 7,690 companies that were assessed in the 2024 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). The CSA is an annual evaluation of companies’ sustainability practices that also serves as the basis for the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices and its list of global sustainability leaders. Only 780 companies made it into the Sustainability Yearbook this year from the overall total that were assessed.
The Sustainability Yearbook included 32 REITs globally, including Nareit members in the United States and Mexico. Those members are:
BXP, Inc. (NYSE: BXP); Digital Realty Trust, Inc . (NYSE: DLR); Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX); Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR); Federal Realty Investment Trust (NYSE: FRT); Fibra Uno (BMV: FUN011); Healthpeak Properties, Inc . (NYSE: DOC); Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc. They added, “in the face of these challenges, we are inspired by the dedication and resilience of the companies that have embraced sustainability as a core principle of their current operations and forward-looking strategies.”
