Agree Realty Corp. (NYSE: ADC) announced that Peter Coughenour has been named its CFO and secretary. Coughenour has been with the company in various finance roles since 2015 and most recently served as interim CFO. Additionally, Agree said Stephen Breslin has joined the company as deputy chief accounting officer. Breslin joined Agree from Kite Realty Group Trust (NYSE: KRG), where he most recently served as vice president, corporate controller.
Americold Realty Trust (NYSE: COLD) said George Chappelle, a former Tyson Foods executive and former chairman of AGRO Merchants Group, has been appointed interim CEO. Chappelle’s appointment follows the decision of the Americold board of trustees to terminate Fred Boehler without cause. The Americold board has engaged a national search firm to identify a permanent CEO.
CareTrust REIT, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTRE) announced the appointment of David Sedgwick as CEO. Sedgwick will succeed founding chairman and CEO Greg Stapley, who will continue to serve as CareTrust’s executive chairman during an approximately six-month transition period, following which he and his wife will commence a three-year, full-time volunteer assignment for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Centerspace (NYSE: CSR) said Bhairav Patel is joining the company as EVP and will transition into the role of CFO in the first quarter of 2022. John Kirchmann, current EVP and CFO, will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities in the first half of 2022. Patel previously served as EVP of finance and accounting for New Senior Investment Group Inc.
David Heimberger, SVP of capital markets, investor relations and transactions at InvenTrust Properties Corp. (NYSE: IVT) has been promoted to the role of chief investment officer. He has served in a variety of leadership positions for InvenTrust since joining the company in 2011.
Plymouth Industrial REIT, Inc. (NYSE: PLYM) announced its succession plan for its CFO. Dan Wright, who has served in the position since 2014, will step down on Feb. 25, 2022, but will continue to work with the company in an advisory capacity. Anthony Saladino, the company’s chief accounting officer, has been named his successor.
Prologis, Inc. (NYSE: PLD) named Susan Uthayakumar to the new role of chief sustainability and energy officer. She will lead the company’s customer-focused sustainability and energy solutions business. Prior to joining Prologis, Uthayakumar was president of Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business Division.
Simon Property Group, Inc. (NYSE: SPG) said Peggy Fang Roe has been appointed to its board of directors. Roe is the global officer, customer experience, and loyalty & new ventures at Marriott International, a position which she has held since 2020.
Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. (NYSE: SKT), promoted Leslie Swanson from EVP of operations to COO and appointed Andrew Wingrove to the role of chief commercial officer. Swanson will continue to play a critical role in driving and maintaining operational results within the company, while Wingrove will focus on the brand's customer experience and loyalty. In his most recent role, Wingrove served as the SVP for travel at CLEAR.
