WASHINGTON, D.C. ( Nov. 1, 2023) – Nareit announced the election of its 2024 officers, the members of its executive board, and its advisory board of governors.
Nareit’s new chair is W. Matthew Kelly, CEO of JBG SMITH. Kelly takes over today from Nareit’s 2023 chair, Lisa Palmer, president and CEO of Regency Centers Corporation.
“We are happy to share that Matt will serve as Nareit’s 2024 chair,” said Nareit President and CEO Steven A. Wechsler. “His expertise and dedication to our industry makes him the ideal person to lead the executive board, and drive our communications with investors, policymakers, and other key stakeholders about the benefits of REITs.
